Khula’s corporate governance practice and fraud prevention strategies include the provision of a ‘whistleblowing’ hotline.  This enables stakeholders who are aware of theft, fraud, excessive wastage, corruption, intimidation, etc. to report such incidents.  Calls are made to a toll free number to a company which is completely independent of Khula and the dti.  Callers may remain anonymous if they choose to do so.  All calls are logged and there are systems and procedures to ensure that all incidents reported are adequately followed up.
