What are Khula Joint Ventures?

A. Business Partners-Khula Start-up Fund, this fund was created to enable entrepreneurs to establish new businesses or business expansion.

B. Anglo-Khula Mining Fund, is a fund which facilitates entry of commercially viable mining ventures into the mainstream mining sector.

C. Enablis-Khula Loan Fund, is a partnership between Khula, Enablis and FNB Enterprise Solutions, the fund provides guarantees for loans in the ICT businesses.

D. Khula Enablis SME Acceleration Fund is a joint venture initiative between Khula and Enablis Entrepreneurial Network.  The fund aims to provide risk capital to entrepreneurs with start up and early-stage businesses.  This fund is not sector specific as it enables businesses including transportation, tourism, agriculture and services.

 

E. The Khula-Akwandze Fund is a joint venture between Khula Enterprise Finance Ltd (Khula) and Akwandze Agricultural Finance (Pty) Ltd (Akwandze). The purpose of the Fund is to provide agricultural development loans to small and medium scale sugarcane growers and contractors within the sugarcane production value chain in the Nkomazi region of the Mpumalanga Province. The Fund is managed by Akwandze.

F. Khula Emerging Contractors Fund is a joint venture initiative between Khula and the Eastern Cape Department of Public Works. The fund is managed by Business Finance Promotion Agency. It's mission is to provide bridging finance to emerging black contractors in Grades 1 to 6 who have been awarded tenders by the Eastern Cape Department of Public Works.
