1.      This privacy and security Policy (“policy”) sets out all the reasonable the steps Khula shall take to protect your personal information and    
         security when you use our website (“this website”).

2.      “Personal Information” herein carries the same meaning to that in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000.

3.      This policy only applies to the information we collect from you via this Website.

4.      This policy must be read with the Website Terms and Conditions, which form the basis of our agreement with you.

5.      If you complete any of our available electronic application forms, Khula will request certain personal information from you.

6.      Khula may then electronically collect, store and use (not share) the following personal information of any such visitor to the Khula website
         including persons who just visit the home page of the Khula website –

4.            email address; and
5.            IP address

7.      Khula collects, stores and uses the abovementioned information for the following purposes –

1.            communicate requested information to you;
2.            newsletter database; and
3.            to compile non-personal statistical information about browsing habits, click patterns and access to the Khula website;

9.      Khula may collect, maintain, save, compile, share, disclose and sell any information collected from you, subject to the following provisions 

1.            Khula shall not disclose personal information from you unless you consent thereto;
2.            Khula shall disclose information without your consent only through due legal process; and
3.            Khula may compile, use and share any information that does not relate to any specific individual.

10.   As a general rule, Khula will never disclose any information collected from you via this website to third parties, unless authorised by you.

11.   Khula owns and retains all rights to non-personal statistical information collected and compiled by it.

Xola Sithole appointed head of Khula
11 March 2004 The Minister of Trade and Industry, Alec Erwin has today announced the appointment of Xola Sithole as Managing Director of Khula Enterprise Finance Ltd, a government agency responsible for facilitating access to finance for small and medium enterprises. Sithole succeeds Sizwe Tati who has been Managing Director since Khula’s inception in 1996. His contract ended in December last year. ...more
